Our Story

Dave’s Baking Co. has been family owned and operated since it was established in 1960. Dave was a driver for Van de Kamp’s Bakery in the early 1950’s, and it was there that he developed his passion for baking. Dave later established his own company and developed his recipes for the famous Dave’s cakes, donuts & Buttermilk Bar. The commitment to quality, taste, unequaled nutritional contents, and a pledge to maintain the integrity of all the products continues to this day.

When Dave decided to retire with his family in 1996, he passed the company to the Aframian family and we have made the commitment to excellence ever since. As a family owned Company, we provide the outstanding service and quality products which only a family operated bakery can offer so that our customers can continue to receive the great value/freshness they expect from Dave’s for many years.

Since 2000, Dave’s product line has been introduced successfully to all the major sectors of the food industry, including food service, vending and catering, airlines, convenient stores and retail. Our product potential for growth lies in our pricing, quality, service and a faithful group of sales people.
